The Singapore 2006 Microsoft Office Academic Skills Challenge organised by NTUC CertCentral and Microsoft has two categories: Microsoft EXCEL 2003 and Microsoft WORD 2003. The National Finals were held on Thursday, 18 July 2006 at CertCentral.

During the heart stopping 2 hours, all the competitors put their skills and speed to the test. Steve Teo won the Excel category by clear margin. In the Microsoft Word Category, 5 of our students obtained perfect scores! Unfortunately, Internet Computing student, Ada Yip, lost the Gold medal by a mere 30 seconds.

As the Microsoft Excel Champion, Steve will represent Singapore at the 2006 Worldwide Competition in Microsoft Office organised by Certiport at Disney's Colorado Springs Resort in Disney World, Orlando, Florida, in the USA from 30th July - 8th August 2006.
