Wong Wei Ming, a Year 3 student of the Diploma in Information Technology secured 3rd place in the 2004 Asia Pacific Microsoft ® Office Specialist Academic Competition held in Shanghai from 24 to 27 July 2004. Wei Ming earned his position in the Microsoft Excel 2002 category of the competition. The other participants at the competition were from Australia, China, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan.
